"Hell houses are haunted attractions typically run by evangelicalProtestant churches or parachurch organizations, designed to act as moral instruction. They depict acts which the organizers deem sinful and their consequences, including the torments of the damned in Hell, and usually conclude with a depiction of Heaven." [1]
The Judgement House is similar to a Hell House because it is also a walk through play that depicts scenarios of people sinning and ends in a Heaven/Hell scene.
Local Churches can also buy kits and scripts to put on their own Hell House or Judgement House play for Halloween.
How are The Judgement House and Hell Houses different?
"Unlike Hell House — a similar ministry that has drawn controversy by depicting characters going to hell for having abortions or for being gay — the point of every Judgement House script is that anyone can go to heaven but that the only way to get there is by believing in Jesus." [2]
